31,657 head of cattle exported from Rockhampton

Gladstone Ports Corporation’s (GPC) is marking another record financial year, having facilitated more than 124.8 million tonne (Mt) of trade across its three port precincts in Gladstone, Rockhampton and Bundaberg.
These results are good news for Queenslanders in terms of jobs, economic growth and international trade.
We are cementing our reputation as the manager of Australia’s premier multi-commodity ports.
Gladstone Ports Corporation has recently doubled the number of shipping containers exported through Gladstone and we’ve introduced cattle exports from Port Alma.
15,830 tonnes or 31,657 head of cattle have been exported through Rockhampton’s Port Alma since December 2018 (first shipment).
This is great news for local producers in Central Queensland. It’s great for jobs and the economy.
