Get ready to run for the 10th Botanic to Bridge Fund Run
Get ready to lace up your joggers to hit the road on Sunday the 18th of August for the Gladstone Ports Corporations (GPC) annual Botanic to Bridge FunD Run.
Now in its tenth year, the event remains committed to supporting local organisations and initiatives and is now calling for applications to be the 2019 Botanic to Bridge community beneficiary.
The successful community beneficiary will be the recipient of up to $20,000 to assist them with major projects that benefit the Gladstone region.
Acting CEO Craig Walker said that over the past nine years the event has injected over $395,797.00 into the community.
“Botanic to Bridge is one of the most anticipated events on Gladstone’s calendar, with all the registration funds directed to our community through the major beneficiary and local schools,” Mr Walker said.
“It’s a great way for families to get out on a Sunday morning, get active and make a difference by supporting the community.
“Last year we had record numbers with over 3,600 people joining us at the start lines, we’re hoping to see record numbers again for the events 10th anniversary,” Mr Walker said.
Visit the Botanic to Bridge website to complete an online application form. Applications will close on Sunday, 2 June 2019.
