Consultants

The online induction link must only be used by Consultants. Contractors who complete the induction via this link will have to redo the Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) induction via the Rapid Global Contractor Management system.

A Consultant is a person working in an advisory capacity and not performing physical works on-site.

New induction

1. Complete GPC's Online Induction​.
 

  • The induction must be completed by the applicant that is applying for the ID Card. 

  • The induction will cover the Port of Gladstone, Port of Rockhampton and Fisherman’s Landing.

  • The induction must be followed right through to the end for it to register as completed. 

  • You will no longer receive a completion email. You must enter your details at the end of the module and security will receive your results.
     

2. ​Complete the Identification Card Application Form.

  • Personal details — to be completed and signed by the applicant.

  • Employer details — to be completed and signed off by the employer to verify the applicant's employment.

  • Authorising person — not required for Port Users.

 

Forms will not be accepted unless all sections are completed and signed off as required.

3. Email relevant documentation to the GPC Security, Induction and MSIC Office.

  • Applicants will be required to email the following documentation to induction@gpcl.com.au — failure to do so will result in applications not being processed.

    • Completed Site ID Application Form

    • Online Induction Completion Transcript

    • Photo and signature identification (e.g. driver licence)

    • MSIC, if applicable.

 

4. Once processed, cards are valid for two years from the date of completion of the induction.

Renew an ID card

1. Complete GPC's Online Induction.
 

  • The induction must be completed by the applicant that is applying for the ID Card. 

  • The induction will cover the Port of Gladstone, Port of Rockhampton and Fisherman’s Landing.

  • The induction must be followed right through to the end for it to register as completed.

3. Email relevant documentation to the GPC Security, Induction and MSIC Office to have your renewal processed.

  • Email the following items to induction@gpcl.com.au to have your card renewed, ensure that your email states it is a renewal of your existing card and include your previous card number if known.

    • Completed Site ID Application Form

    • Online Induction Completion Transcript

    • Photo and signature identification

    • MSIC, if applicable

    • JPEG photo — this is required to be in front of a white background, taken from the shoulders up and the applicants face should be clear and unobstructed.

4. The GPC Security, Induction and MSIC Office will process and advise the new expiry date once completed. 
 

Replace a lost, stolen or damaged ID card

 

If your GPC ID Card is lost or stolen you must notify the GPC Security, Induction and MSIC Office immediately so that your card can be deactivated — phone 07 4976 1350 or 07 4976 1213 after hours.

2. Email the completed Identification Card Application form to the GPC Security, Induction and MSIC Office to have your replacement processed.​

  • Email the following items to induction@gpcl.com.au to have your card renewed, ensure that your email states it is a replacement of your existing card that has been lost, stolen or damaged, and includes your previous card number if known.

    • Completed Site ID Application Form

    • Online Induction Completion Transcript

    • Photo and signature identification

    • MSIC, if applicable

    • JPEG photo — this is required to be in front of a white background, taken from the shoulders up and the applicant's face should be clear and unobstructed.

 

3. The GPC Security, Induction and MSIC Office will process and advise when the replacement card is ready for collection.

Change of employer

 

It is your responsibility to notify GPC's Security, Induction and MSIC Office if your employer changes. Any person found to be using an ID Card that is not in the name of their current employer may face access restrictions or suspension from operational sites.

To have your card changed please complete the Site ID Application Form and email completed form to induction@gpcl.com.au to have a new card printed. the form must be signed off by your new employer and authorised by your new employer’s GPC Representative before it can be processed.

If your new company is a contractor and not categorised as the following; port user, consultant or essential service please speak to your new employer to organise for you to be registered in Rapid Global.
